Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance is a key element for Industrial Metalwork’s ongoing success and fulfilling our client’s expectations. The entire IMW team operates with the knowledge that safety implementation is at the heart of our client’s values and that compliance and adherence are key for setting us apart from our competition. We operate within a performance-based HSE system that maximizes flexibility, allowing us to customize an approach that fits each client’s needs, while adhering to regulatory and statutory requirements. Our HSE framework maintains the IMW standards and ensures optimal HSE performance throughout everything we do.

The IMW HSE program is built on simplicity, scalability, and a collaborative structure that integrates with our client’s operations. Through clear communication with our team and our clients, IMW manages, mitigates, and controls potential risk. With our comprehensive assessment and audit tools, we are able to monitor the effectiveness of our HSE system, track corrective actions, and share best practices to ensure our ongoing success.

Quality

At Industrial Metalwork Inc., Quality is in everything we do. From inception to completion, we operate with integrity, ensuring the package we deliver meets, or exceeds industry and client expectations. Our Quality Management System is ever evolving, adapting to industry changes and client requirements. Our Ownership team believes in the importance of training, mentor-ship, and the development of our people. Our QC team works closely with fabrication personnel, project management, and our clients to ensure all client specifications are being met, as well as all code requirements. We lead by example, sharing information, working as a resource to our shop and field people. Our Quality Inspectors are trained and certified to inspect on multiple codes of construction including, but not limited to: CSA Z662, ASME B31.3, CSA W59/W47.1

At Industrial Metalwork Inc. we believe in being proactive, rather than reactive. Our Quality Systems improve efficiency, help prevent rework, strive to mitigate tech safety hazards, and ensure we learn from any errors we make.

Industrial Metalwork Inc. ABSA Certificate of Authorization Permit (AQP-1587) grants authorization to perform construction, repair, and alteration of the following:

  • ASME Section VIII-1 Pressure Vessels
  • ASME B31.3 Indirect Fired Heater Coils
  • ASME B31.3 Process Piping
  • Category H Fittings

Industrial Metalwork Inc. is certified to CSA Standard W47.1 “Certification of Companies for Fusion Welding of Steel” DIVISION 2

Our Welding Procedure Specifications cover all of our certifications with processes which include:

  • SMAW
  • GMAW
  • FCAW
  • GTAW
